Curriculum

« Nunzio Cennamo was born in Italy in 1975. He received the degree in electronic engineering in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering in 2005, both from Second University of Naples, Naples, Italy. He is currently a post-doc at the Department of Engineering at University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Aversa, Italy. His research interests include the design and fabrication of optical fiber sensors, chemical sensors, biosensors and optoelectronic devices. He is author of more than 80 international journal and conference papers and 3 patents. He is an invited speaker in several international conferences (POF 2017 (26th International Conference on Plastic Optical Fibres) Aveiro-Portugal; OSA Advanced Photonics Congress 2018 Zurich-Switzerland; Auxdefense 2018 (1st World Conference on Advanced Materials for Defense) Lisbon-Portugal). He is a reviewer for several technical journals, Member of the Technical committee of "IEEE Sensors Applications Symposium (SAS)" and of "The Third International Conference on Advances in Sensors, Actuators, Metering and Sensing" (ALLSENSORS 2018), several times Guest Editor of Sensors (MDPI) and Member of the Editorial Board of International Journals: "Sensors" (MDPI), "International Journal of Nanomaterials, Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine", "Journal of NanoScience and NanoMedicines" and "Journal of Biosensors & Bioelectronics". He is an Organizer/Chair of the Special Session on "Optical fiber sensors in measurement systems and their application", in the IEEE (I2MTC) International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference 2018. He is a Chair of the "Optical Sensor" Session in the CNS 2018 Conference (21-23 February 2018, Catania- Italy).»
